Our Mission

help girls raise their hands instead of lowering their standards

Mentors matter - as early as middle school - because that’s precisely when girls’ confidence can falter.  We know the drill. We’ve done the math and seen the stats:

  • That between ages 13 and 18 girls' confidence drops by 20% 1
  • That by age 14 girls drop their sport at 2X the rate of boys 2
  • That the sharpest fall-off of girls in computer science remains between 13 and 17 3
  • But...what if they didn't?

What if, at exactly the time when some girls are quitting what they love, they met the right female role model?

  • A CEO who remembers standing in high tops like yours afraid to raise her hand in class
  • A champion who warmed the bench but then went on to the Olympics
  • A founder who built her first line of code in middle school and turned it into the next big thing

  • Our mission is to keep you close to what you love by offering curated free resources and the coolest female role models right when you need them. Want to bring some to your school? We can help. Want to meet mentors at insanely great companies and see where they work? We’re saving you seats.

We know the stats. We just refuse to accept them. Our mission is to help girls raise their hands instead of lowering their standards.

    Let's do it together
